Poland’s National Media Council (RMN) has dismissed Maciej Stanecki from the board of the Polish public broadcaster TVP.
At the same time, according to Presservis, it has appointed Marzena Paczuska and Piotr Palka as members of the TVP board.
Meanwhile, Jacek Kurski has retained his position as the president of TVP.
Paczuska has until now been an advisor to the president in the journalism and information department, while Palka has worked in TVP’s programming department since June 2018.
Rzeczpospolita has reported that the changes in TVP’s board are due to the country’s President Duda vetoing a bill on the financing of TVP.
