M7 Group, the owner of Czech and Slovak DTH platform Skylink, has entered into an agreement with Vodafone.
As a result, viewers will be able to watch programmes from Skylink Live TV without using their data allowance from March 25, 2019.
Skylink notes that Vodafone customers with an activated Vodafone Video Pass can access the service through smartphones. As part of this package, they can watch programmes from the Skylink satellite TV portfolio anytime and anywhere without wasting their tariff data.
Furthermore, everyone can try Skylink Live TV for 30 days free of charge. This includes full access to the service, with features such as seven-day catch-up.
Significantly, M7 Group and Vodafone only agreed to launch the service a few days ago.
Commenting on the development, Jaromir Glisnik, member of the board of directors at M7 Group, said: “Skylink Live TV is the next step in the evolution of our platform. We want to give viewers the opportunity to watch their favourite programmes without limitation, and t data usage was a limiting factor.
“I believe that this innovation will bring our customers more pleasure in watching, and less worrying about spending control”.
