M7 Group’s German DTH satellite platform Diveo is now available on set-top boxes from German manufacturer TechniSat.
In contrast to the legacy Diveo box, the TechniSat receivers also make Diveo’s Ultra HD (UHD) offer available on TV screens which could previously only be received through an UHD TV set with a CI+ module.
“We are very pleased that this is now also possible with a set-top box,” said Martijn van Hout, Vice President Marketing and Sales M7 Group. “In TechniSat, we have found a partner with many years of experience with whom we can now jointly make the perfect TV experience available to even more TV fans. Both products complement each other perfectly.”
Diveo is accessible through a software update with a CI+ module on the UHD/4K TechniSat receivers DIGIT ISIO STC+, DIGIT ISIO STC and DIGIT UHD. Interactive functions such as restart, pause and recording can be used via the internet connection. The offer can be tested free of charge and without obligation for 30 days.
Insight UHD was the first UHD channel to launch on the Diveo platform in November 2018, with more to follow.
