Comedy Central HD has become available on German DTH satellite platforms HD+, Diveo and Freenet via Astra (19.2° East) on March 1, 2019.
The free-to-air channel replaces sister channel Nickelodeon HD. Nickelodeon is still available in SD resolution free-of-charge and unencrypted to all platforms’ subscribers.
In addition, the free-to-air children’s channel can still be received on all major cable networks and on other platforms in both SD and HD quality.
