The Discovery-owned Polish national broadcaster TVN has launched an HbbTV application on its flagship channel.
According to hbbtv.pl, it gives viewers access to an EPG, games and a number of interactive services. HbbTV.pl notes that the move marks a new phase in the development of interactive TV services in Poland, where the first HbbTV tests took place on TVN HD in 2012.
It also says that TVN has this week started using HbbTV on live broadcasts of its programme Dzien Dobry.
