French international news channel France 24 has signed a new distribution contract with German cable operator Unitymedia.
Through the agreement, the France 24 app has recently been added to Unitymedia’s Horizon platform.
More than 780,000 subscribers now benefit from the features of the France 24 app that include access to the live broadcast of each channel, real-time updates of the latest news stories and an extensive video-on-demand catalogue.
With the latest move, France 24 – already part of Unitymedia’s cable line-up since 2010 – continues to expand in Europe, where the channel is now available in nearly 183 million households and over 1.5 million hotel rooms.
