Dr Eva Flecken has been appointed Vice President Public Policy, Regulatory & EU Affairs and Protection of Minors at Sky Deutschland.
Since May 2014, Flecken (pictured right) has been heading the German pay-TV broadcaster’s capital city office in Berlin: As Director Public Policy & EU Affairs she is responsible for the political representation of Sky’s interests in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
With immediate effect, the 35-year-old will now also take over the management of the two Regulatory Affairs and Protection of Minors teams based in Unterföhring near Munich. In her new function, she will report to Dr Holger Enßlin, Managing Director Legal, Regulatory & Distribution.
At the Berlin office, Flecken will be joined with immediate effect by Jürgen Hofmann (pictured left), complementing her team as Head of Public Policy & EU Affairs. The 38-year-old was previously head of the legal division of commercial broadcaster association VAUNET (formerly VPRT).
