HBO has launched in Portugal with Vodafone Portugal as its exclusive operator partner.
The streaming SVOD service is accessible through a wide range of smartphones, tablets and devices including PC, LG TV, PlayStation 4, Android TV, Chromecast and Apple TV.
Vodafone Portugal customers can access the streaming service via TV Vodafone.
HBO Portugal offers over 4,500 episodes of content including every season of HBO Originals such as Game of Thrones, True Detective, Westworld and Big Little Lies, classic series like Sex and the City, The Sopranos, The Wire and Girls as well as series from other content providers such as Patrick Melrose (Sky/Showtime), A Discovery of Witches (Sky/ Sundance TV), Krypton and Deadly Class (SyFy), Legacies, Roswell: New Mexico, All American and Charmed (CW) and Killing Eve (BBC America/ AMC).
Furthermore, the service offers a wide variety of movies, documentaries and a special section with Kids and Family content. HBO Portugal’s offer will include a broad range of new titles premiering simultaneously with the US.
With a one-month free trial for all new subscribers, HBO Portugal has a monthly cost of €4.99, allowing subscribers to register five different devices with their subscription and watch two simultaneous streams of dubbed and subtitled content at the same time from the same account.
