Greece’s Nova has entered into a new and exclusive agreement with Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM) for first pay window film and TV content.
It will see films premier on Nova channels, as well as the Nova OnDemand and Nova Go services.
Commenting on the development, Katerina Kaskanioti, pay-TV executive director, Nova, said: “We are very happy to announce the new agreement with MGM which proves the studio’s confidence in Nova, as well as our commitment to offer the best possible content to our subscribers”.
Chris Ottinger, MGM’s president television distribution & acquisitions, added: “Nova continues to assemble the best premium content for their viewers. We’re thrilled to bring our films and franchises to such a discerning audience.”
The new agreement with MGM includes rights for the studio’s content distribution via laptops, tablets and smart phones on a linear and a SVOD/catch-up basis through Nova Go and Nova On Demand, which allow subscribers to watch content anytime and anywhere in Greece.
