Ioan Bendei has resigned from his position as VP and executive member of the board of directors of Romania’s RCS&RDS, citing personal reasons.
In a statement, RCS&RDS’s parent company Digi Communications says that as of February 5 he has no longer held management or representation powers within RCS&RDS.
The statement adds that until a new board member is appointed Dan Ioita, the current co-CFO of the company and RCS&RDS, will become the fifth (interim) member of the board of directors of RCS&RDS.
The other members of the board are Serghei Bulgac (president), Valentin Popoviciu (VP), Mihai Dinei (non-executive member) and Bogdan Ciobotaru (non-executive member).
The statement concludes by expressing its gratitude to Ioan Bendei for his “consistent contribution to the development of RCS&RDS”.
Thanks to his efforts, it has become “one of the most dynamic entrepreneurial companies in Romania and the market leader for fixed TV and internet services”.
