ANGA COM reports 90% of exhibition space is booked

Four months before the start of ANGA COM 2019, 400 exhibitors have already registered for over 90 percent of the exhibition space of the previous year.

With that the international Exhibition and Conference for Broadband, Television & Online is expecting renewed growth in exhibition space. In 2018, new records with at the end 500 exhibitors and 21,700 participants have been reached. This year, ANGA COM will take place in Cologne/Germany from 4 to 6 June 2019.

In addition to the Broadband and Media Summit, the conference programme includes a new Fiber Summit, the International Content Summit and the International CTO Summit. The board members and managing directors of Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone, Tele Columbus, EWE TEL, NetCologne and Deutsche Glasfaser have already confirmed their attendance at the Fiber Summit.

Hot topics are Fiber, Smart City, 5G, Internet of Things, Smart Home, Content, Streaming, Cloud TV and Personalized TV. Within the core areas of broadband and audiovisual media, especially Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Start-Ups and Cyber Security will be expanded.

With the new ANGA International Keynotes, the internationality of ANGA COM will be further expanded. Applications for short presentations on innovative topics from the fields of Digital Transformation, Internet of Things and Content can be submitted until 15 February 2019.

On 6 June 2019, ANGA COM, the Broadband Office of the German Federation and the Association of Telecommunications and Value-Added Service Providers (VATM) will organize a joint Broadband Day for the second time. After the successful premiere in 2018, the topic Smart City will be in focus this year. The Broadband Day offers free access for all visitors upon prior online registration.

With the “Small Enterprise Park”, ANGA COM 2019 offers a new special area for small and young companies. The offer is aimed at companies that do not need the infrastructure and size of a regular exhibition stand, but still want a fixed meeting and presentation point. The price for a fully equipped presence amounts to 1,950.- Euros plus VAT. The new offering has been specifically designed for software, content and service providers, consultants, research and education institutes, funding agencies, municipalities and authorities.
