Thomas Huber will become the new head of the ‘digital’ brand management team in the marketing department of German broadcaster Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland on March 11, 2019.
The team will be responsible for all brands from RTL interactive, including streaming service TV NOW and web portal RTL.de.
Huber joins RTL from video-on-demand provider Netflix, where he was responsible for marketing in Germany, Austria and Switzerland since 2015 and involved in establishing the brand. He previously worked at N24, MTV Networks/Viacom and in agencies.
Huber will report directly to Julian Weiss, Chief Marketing Officer of Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland.
