DAZN has announced that Veronica Diquattro, in addition to Italy, will also lead the business in Spain, as EVP Revenue, Southern Europe.
In its new role, Diquattro will work to grow DAZN in Spain, as well as Italy, where the platform already has an extensive list of premium rights including the TIM A Series, the BKT Series, La Liga, Ligue 1, FA Cup, NHL and NFL.
Veronica joined DAZN last summer, after a long experience with Spotify as Managing Director Southern and Eastern Europe, where she led the strategic direction and growth of the brand in 16 countries.
DAZN will be launched in Spain in February, after securing exclusive multi-platform rights for MotoGP from 2019 to 2022, for the Premier League from 2019/20 to 2021/22 and for Turkish Airlines EuroLeague from 2019/20 to 2022/23. Further important rights will be announced shortly, in view of the platform’s planned debut with the start of the MotoGP season, along with a full multisport offering, with no contract duration obligations.
James Rushton, Chief Revenue Officer of DAZN, said: “We are very pleased to have Veronica as the head of our streaming service, not only in Italy, but also in Spain.
