Eleven Sports says it will continue to show LaLiga to viewers in the UK and Ireland until the end of the season.
It follows negotiations between the struggling online sports channel and rights holders IMG.
However, while Spanish football rights have been retained some other IMG content including Serie A and Eredivisie will be dropped at the end of February.
The two competitions have been picked up by Premier Sports, which will air a minimum of six games per round until the end of the 2020/21 season.
“At this stage, our priorities lie with our subscribers who we hope will experience minimal disruption as a result of these developments,” the company said in a statement. “The strategic direction we have chosen allows us to focus on LaLiga which not only drives real value for us in the UK and Ireland but is also a property which we continue to have a valued partnership with in five markets globally.”
Eleven Sports is reducing its monthly subscription to £4.99. It says it will deal with requests for partial refunds for annual subscribers on an individual basis.
