Subscribers to the Bulgarian incumbent Vivacom’s satellite TV service can shortly expect to see an improvement in signal quality.
According to the company, this will be due to a switch to a new satellite that will be undertaken in two stages, with the planned move taking place in the nights of January 24th to 25th and January 31st to February 1st.
Vivacom adds that it will be transferring its services to Intelsat’s IS-38, which was presented in September 2018 and subsequently launched and passed a number of tests.
Not only will the new satellite provide better signal quality for TV channels but also better territorial coverage.
