Pierre Hunter joins Zappware’s commercial team

January 14, 2019 08.44 Europe/London By Robert Briel

Pierre Hunter is joining Zappware’s commercial team.

“We firmly believe that Zappware’s product portfolio is ready to address a substantially larger customer base. Not only in Europe, but we target to further develop our business in the LATAM, Middle-East and APAC regions. We have anticipated this and have been looking to attract captains of industry who can support us in this expansion,” explained Patrick Vos, CEO of Zappware.

“This resulted in the recruitment of Pierre Hunter, who has joined Zappware as of today. Pierre Hunter has an impressive track record of over 25 years in Pay TV and most recently as Vice President Sales EMEA at Verimatrix, where he was instrumental to the growth of Verimatrix from a small startup to a world leader in the supply of video content and revenue security solutions. Pierre will join the Zappware commercial team and will assist Zappware in its Strategic Business Development.”

Pierre Hunter elaborates: “I will be applying my extensive market and industry knowledge to help Zappware grow its future commercial strategy based on its innovative NEXX 4.0 product-set consisting of a unique user interface and video backoffice solution for digital TV. Our industry is constantly evolving, both technologically and commercially. A key strength is my ability to successfully adapt to these constant changes. I’m excited to join Zappware on this international growth journey.”
