The Polish public broadcaster TVP is reported to have reached an agreement with the national transmission company Emitel following several months of negotiations.
As a result, says Wirtualne Media, it will now be able to distribute two of its channels – TVP Rozrywka and TVP Sport HD – on Multiplex 8 (MUX-8).
TVP has been allocated three slots on the multiplex, which it n use for three SD or one HD and one SD channels, by the National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT).
MUX-8 was launched in 2016 and already distributes the commercial stations Now TV, Metro, Telewizja WP and Zoom TV.
