WATCH VIDEO. A bomb has exploded outside the headquarters of Skai TV, one of Greece’s leading commercial broadcasters.
In a statement on its site, collating international reports by AP and Reuters, Skai TV says a strong explosion broke the windows and flattened the station’s offices in Athens.
It adds that no one was injured. This morning, journalists presenting Skai’s morning show were broadcasting live outside the building.
The reports also say the explosion bore similarities to one outside the Loukeros Court of Appeal in central Athens on December 22, 2017, for which the far-left ‘People’s Fighter Group’ claimed responsibility.
Skai TV is part of a media group that includes Kathimerini, Greece’s leading daily newspaper.
