The Wimbledon tennis tournament will continue to be broadcast by Sky Deutschland: The German pay-TV operator and the All England Lawn Tennis Club have agreed on a long-term extension of their partnership until 2022.
Sky will thus continue to cover the Grand Slam tournament in Germany, Austria and Switzerland live over the next four years – in Germany and Austria exclusively.
Next to the live broadcasting rights via satellite and cable, the new agreement, which was concluded with rights dealer IMG Media, also comprises broadcasting via IPTV, web and mobile TV.
In addition to classic television, tennis fans will be able watch the tournament live via streaming services Sky Go and Sky Ticket.
