Thema expands Russian portfolio

Canal+ Group’s Thema has entered into a partnership with Blue Ant Media.

As a result, Thema Moscow, the Russian arm of its business, will distribute the Blue Ant Media channels Love Nature 4K, ZooMoo and Arcade Cloud.

Love Nature 4K, a joint venture between Blue Ant Media and Smithsonian Networks, has the world’s largest library if 4K wildlife and nature content and operates 4K and HD channels worldwide. Meanwhile, ZooMoo is an interactive and educational channel. Consisting of over 1,500 shows and aimed at children aged 3-6, and Arcade Cloud a network for gamers.

Commenting on the development, Arnaud Verlhac, SVP distribution, Thema, said: “I am delighted by this strategic partnership between Blue Ant Media and Thema, a Canal+ Group company, which will extend the reach of the Blue Ant Media brand and its products to Russian and CIS territories. We are looking forward to a fruitful collaboration and to bringing Love Nature 4K, ZooMoo and Arcade Cloud to audiences in these markets.”
