Vivendi and Telecom Italia are once again at odds.
It’s over the decision by the Telecom Italia board, led by members from hedge fund Elliot, not to hold a shareholders meeting to vote for the appointment of new financial Auditors.
“This decision, like many others before, goes against all the rules of proper corporate governance and is a source of disorganisation,” Vivendi said in a statement.
It says it’s written to the board requesting such a meeting and asking it to reduce the number of Elliot representatives from ten to five.
