Two in five (42.94%) homes in Croatia still watched solely FTA DTT services as of the end of the third quarter.
This, according to the latest data published by the regulator HAKOM, contrasted with 28.06% that used IPTV services, 11.75% cable, 12.39% satellite TV and 4.86% pay DTT.
It adds that due to the still high viewing levels of FTA DTT services, there is significant growth potential for pay-TV using other technologies.
HAKOM also notes that the number of fixed broadband connections in the country stood at 1.113 million as of September 30, or around 2.5% more than a year earlier.
While the number of fibre connections also grew, most users still accessed services via copper infrastructure.
