ANGA COM 2019 expands its range of topics

November 30, 2018 08.13 Europe/London By Robert Briel

ANGA COM will extend its range of topics next year. Within its core areas of broadband and audiovisual media, the keywords Smart City, 5G, Internet of Things, Smart Home, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Cloud Services, Cyber Security and Personalisation will be upgraded – both in the conference programme and in the exhibition.

With the Small Enterprise Park, ANGA COM 2019 provides a new exhibition area especially for smaller and younger companies. The offer is aimed at new exhibitors that do not need the infrastructure and size of a regular exhibition stand, but still want a fixed meeting and presentation point. The price for a fully equipped presence amounts to EUR1,950.- plus VAT. The new offering has been specifically designed for software, content and service providers, consultants, research and education institutes, funding agencies, municipalities and authorities. Stand booking is open at www.angacom.de.

Dr. Peter Charissé, Managing Director of ANGA COM: “With even more offers for digital transformation and new exhibition areas, we want to address new and younger companies and visitors. Telecommunications, media and online companies find ideal conditions in Cologne: With several market leaders based here, the German Rhineland is Europe’s most important broadband and media region. Cologne stands for more than 40 million people within a radius of 250 kilometers. Three international airports (Cologne, Dusseldorf and Frankfurt) can be reached in less than an hour.”

ANGA COM will take place in Cologne/Germany from 4 to 6 June 2019. With already more than 200 exhibitor registrations, ANGA COM 2019 has an excellent booking situation 6 months before the start. In 2018, ANGA COM achieved a record growth: With more than 500 exhibitors and 21,700 participants (thereof 47 percent international), the event reached an increase in visitor numbers of 12 percent and an exhibitor increase of 10 percent.

White Paper: Why Wi-Fi 7 is critical for ISPs in the gigabit+ era

Today, consumers are increasingly using bandwidth-intensive and latency-sensitive workloads, such as 4K and 8K streaming, online gaming, and AR/VR applications.
