Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic has insisted that Telekom Srbija is not for sale and should become one of the most important companies in the Balkan region.
Quoted by B92 and Tanjug, he also that Telekom Srbija “has an opponent (Serbia Broadband – SBB) who has grabbed everything, thanks to the fact that they were paying for and bribing everyone in the state leadership”. SBB “got the cables where we built our utility infrastructure for free… prevailed and took over everything”.
He questioned what should now be done. Let Telekom Srbija die and make SBB’s management happy?
Asked about Telekom Srbija and its investments, Vucic said that it should behave responsibly in the market.
