The Russian DTH platform operator NTV-Plus has released an application for its online service NTV-Plus TV for Samsung Smart TV.
Quoting Konstantin Smirnov, director of the company’s digital products department, Comnews reports that NTV-Plus TV can now be received by the owners of Samsung TVs from 2015-2018 using the Tizen operating system. Given that the manufacturer does not support earlier models, there are no plans to develop a separate version of the app NTV-Plus TV.
Smirnov also said that the plan now is to release an app for LG Smart TV and expand functionality.
NTV-Plus TV is already available on the ntvplus.tv website, in iOS and Android mobile applications, and Apple TV and Android TV.
