The Russian cable operator ER Telecom saw its residential subscriber base grow by 15% in the year to September 30.
According to its latest set of results, as published by Comnews, the company had 6.9 million active customers as of the end of Q3.
Factors driving growth included an increase in the number of channels offered – 219, of which 85 were in HD, as of September 30 – and the upgrading of networks serving 15,000 homes in all cities.
ER Telecom’s revenues in the first nine months of this year amounted to R29.2 billion (€387.3 million), or 18% more than in the corresponding period in 2017.
Its EBITDA was 31% higher and net profit, at R1.8 billion, 62% up on the previous year.
