Deltatre has announced it intends to purchase OTT software company Massive Interactive creating the world’s largest OTT solution provider.
Massive’s groundbreaking UX management console AXIS helps run sports and entertainment services for organisations including the BBC, Bell Media, Channel 5, Telecine/Sony Pictures Television and DR and several others. It will sit alongside Deltatre’s OTT platform Amplify completing an end to end OTT product street. Amplify is used by the ATP’s Tennis TV, NFL Game Pass Europe, Juventus Pass, FINA TV, and several others.

Massive will operate as a division of Deltatre, which will have 18 offices worldwide, and nearly 1,000 full-time staff.

Deltatre works across virtual broadcast studios to OTT services, state-of-the-art digital platforms, real-time content and data syndication, and broadcast graphics.
The deal is subject to customary approval. Gibson Dunn served as legal advisor for Deltatre and HSBC was the financial advisor. Massive’s legal advisor was DLA Piper; its financial advisor is Raymond James.
