The Czech transmission company Digital Broadcasting has added further transmitters to those already serving its DVB-T2 Transition Network 13.
In a statement, it says it has increased the previous 45, which reached over 9 million TV viewers, or 88% of the Czech population, by a further 14.
As a result, the DVB-T2 Transition Network 13 now reaches over 9.3 million viewers, or 89.2% of the Czech population.
The viewers are able to receive the TV channels Nova, Nova, Nova, Nova, Nova 2, Prima Comedy Central (HD), Joj Family (HD), World Cinema, Relax and Rebel, as well as the regional programmes Polar (HD), TV V1 (HD) and Brno TV.
In his comments on the development, Radim Parizek, the director of Digital Broadcasting, said the preparation of other sites for the network is continuing intensively.
