Fox News to launch OTT service Fox Nation in US

October 26, 2018 09.52 Europe/London By Robert Briel

Fox News will debut the new on-demand subscription-based service Fox Nation on Tuesday, November 27, announced John Finley, SVP of Development & Production.

The service will be priced at $5.99 a month or $64.99 per year. Additionally, Fox Nation will present an exclusive pre-sale initiative for consumers to become founding members of the service by purchasing limited edition packages beginning this Sunday, 30 days ahead of launch.

Fox News previously announced short and long-form programming plans for Fox Nation with content from some of the network’s stars, including Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham and Brit Hume.

“We are incredibly excited to bring our viewers exclusive access, content and experiences from our Fox News stars at an attainable price,” said John Finle.

“In an on demand era of viewers watching content wherever and whenever they want, Fox Nation will complement and enhance our powerhouse Fox News programming for the loyal superfans who want to remain connected to our signature platforms.”

In anticipation of the launch, FOX Nation will open the pre-sale process on Sunday, October 28th with the debut of the Fox Nation Founders Program. The exclusive pre-sale program will offer four limited edition packages, providing elite merchandise for early subscribers.
