The Polish public broadcaster TVP has opened a tender to determine how its channels fare against competing services.
Wirtualne Media reports that the research, which parties interested in undertaking are invited to submit bids for by the end of this month, will be on a qualitative and quantitative basis and look at such factors as identifying TV users’ needs and their importance.
It will compare like-for-like services, including TVP1 and TVP2 with Polsat and TVN; TVP Info with TVN24 and Polsat News; and TVP Kultura with Ale Kino+, Kino Polska, Metro and Stopklatka.
The selected bidder will work for TVP until the end of January 2019 and complete the study by mid-December this year.
