HD Austria’s Smart TV app launches on LG TVs

October 24, 2018 14.05 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

The Now app of Austrian DTH satellite platform HD Austria, operated by M7 Group, is now available on Smart TV sets from LG.

Users of the app, which complements linear television with internet services, can receive more than 80 TV channels including ORF, commercial channels and pay-TV services such as Eurosport 2, eSportsTV, AXN, Planet, Syfy HD, Fix&Foxi TV and kabel eins Classics. In addition, programmes from the past seven days and more than 4,000 films can watched on-demand.

All owners of LG Smart TV sets built in 2015 or later (WebOS 3.0 or higher operating system) can obtain the NOW app from the LG App Store or by software update. After the download, the app can be tested free of charge for 30 days.

Customers with an HD Austria bundle package can always use the NOW app free of charge.

Earlier this week, M7 Group launched the app in Belgium for its TV Vlaanderen and TeleSat services.
