A final draft of a report on the Bosnian incumbent BH Telecom should be ready by the end of this month.
According to Capital.ba, it is being prepared by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and amounts to a “deep analysis” of the company. It adds that the report is expected to completed and finalised by Mirsad Zaimovic, the DG of BH Telecom, at the end of November.
PwC prepared an initial report on BH Telecom this summer, based on publicly available data and documents submitted by BH Telecom. It covered data on the telecom market in Bosnia and BH Telecom’s position vis-à-vis the completion.
The consulting company then undertook direct interviews with authorised BH Telecom employees in September and October during which some topics were dealt with in more detail.
The funding for the analysis, along with one on HT Mostar, is being provided by the EU delegation to Bosnia & Herzegovina.
It is one of the conditions for the telco obtaining a loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
