Poland’s Telewizja Polsat has launched a new esports channel named Polsat Games.
As of this Monday (October 15), it has been available to Cyfrowy Polsat subscribers receiving the Mini HD package, as well as over the internet.
Aside from esports, the new channel offers viewers entertainment programming featuring internet stars and anime. However, its flagship shows will be produced in-house and feature esports games.
Commenting on the new channel, its director Bartosz Pawlik said: “Polsat Games is not just television.
“ We know perfectly well that as a product aimed at players we have to be everywhere where fans of games have already got used to consume content. That is why all our live broadcasts will be available on Twitch, and our own programmes, after being premiered on TV, on Ipla and YouTube”.
