SPI and Alchimie have signed an agreement to increase the carriage of the SPI channels FightBox, DocuBox, FilmBox Art House and FashionBox in two new territories – Belgium and Spain – from October and December respectively.
The agreement allows the linear channels to be accessed on the OTT platform Watch it, which is accessible on mobiles, tablets, PCs and smart TV sets.
Commenting on the development, Frederic Rossignol, chief content officer, Alchimie, said: “Our subscribers in France, Germany and Australia have thoroughly enjoyed watching SPI’s channels and content on Watch It, and we’re delighted to extend our agreement both in terms of channels and territories, and we are sure our existing audiences and our new audiences in Spain and Belgium will respond equally enthusiastically”.
