Ukraine’s National Council has approved the distribution of three more foreign channels on cable networks in the country.
In a statement, it says the channels are WnessTV, Shorts TV and Barely Legal.
It adds that Wness TV is owned by the company Efficiency First Media and licensed by the council of Electronic Media (CEM) in Bulgaria. Offering programming on health-related matters in Bulgarian, it is distributed by Eutelsat 16A and IP stream.
Meanwhile, Shorts TV is licensed by the UK’s Ofcom and distributed by Telstar 12 and IPTV. It shows short films in English.
Barely Legal is operated by Amsterdam-registered Sapphire Media International, offers adult content and is distributed by Eutelsat 16A.
Wness TV and Shorts TV are both 24-hour services, while Barely Legal is broadcast from midnight till 4am.
