Mantas Martisius has been appointed the chairman of the Lithuanian Radio and Television Commission (LRTK).
In a statement, the regulator says that the appointment, made by the Lithuanian Parliament (Sejmas), will come into force upon publication of the Legislative Register.
Martisius has been the vice chairman of the LRTK since March 2017.
The LRTK is comprised of 11 members. They are appointed for a four-year term and none can serve more than two consecutive terms.
