Discovery brings ID. Investigation Discovery to Germany

October 9, 2018 11.08 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

Discovery introduces its true crime brand ID. Investigation Discovery in Germany.

ID. Investigation Discovery will, however, initially not be offered as a stand-alone TV channel, but as a programme window on women’s channel TLC. The true crime series the free-to-air channel has so far been showing under the ‘TLC Crime’ brand are now branded ‘ID. Investigation Discovery’.

The window opens from Monday to Wednesday at 22.15 CET and on Thursdays at 20.15 CET.

Whether ID. Investigation Discovery will also launch as a TV channel in Germany, remains to be seen. “At present we have no concrete plans in this direction, but we are always interested in growth and development and also keep all options open regarding ID,” a spokeswoman of Discovery Communications Deutschland told Broadband TV News.
