Audiovisual service revenues in Lithuania the first half of this year amounted to €62,683,566, according to figures published by the country’s Radio and Television Commission (LRTK).
Retransmitted TV services accounted for €32,769,521, or just under half, of the total, with broadcast TV services claiming €25,971,801 and radio services €4,242,244.
There were significant increases in both radio and broadcast TV service revenues between Q1 and Q2 this year.
In the case of radio, they rose from €1,794,007 to €2,448,237, while for broadcast TV the totals were €12,492,913 and €12,478,888 respectively.
Although retransmitted TV service revenues were also higher in Q2 than Q1, the increase, from €16,358,823 to €16,410,698, was more modest.
