France 24 has introduced its new application on Les offres Canal+ (Reunion, Caribbean), thereby completing the renewal of the application.
The application has been developed by Dotscreen and is intended for both operator STBs and OTT streaming devices. It offers a choice of four languages (French, English, Arabic and Spanish) for both interface and content; access to the live broadcast of each channel; catch-up of the latest news bulletin, as well as the most recent African, business, sport and weather bulletins; and an extensive VOD catalogue.
The functionalities of the application can be adapted according to the market requirements of the operator or the technical capacities of the platform.
To date, it has been integrated into the following offers: Roku, Apple TV, Deutsche Telekom, EE and Ooredoo (powered by Netgem), Freesat UK (HbbTV format) and Les offres Canal+ (Reunion, Caribbean) via set-top box and OTT streaming devices thanks to the service myCanal.
A different version of the service has also been developed for Android TV, Amazon Fire TV and Metrological.
