German public broadcaster ZDF has expanded its offer on streaming platform Amazon Prime Video Channels.
The new channel ZDFtivi is primarily aimed at pre-school and primary school children as well as young teenagers.
The line-up available on-demand includes well-known movies, series and kids brands from ZDF’s main channel and KiKA, the linear children’s channel ZDF jointly operates with public broadcaster ARD, for example Laura’s Star, Dragon Digby, Little Nick, Mofy and Enid Blyton’s Famous Five.
Amazon Prime members can subscribe to ZDFtivi for €3.99 per month; the offer can be tested free of charge for 14 days.
Amazon Prime Video can be accessed through the Prime Video app on smart TV sets, mobile iOS and Android devices, Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV stick, Fire tablets, Apple TV or directly via the browser at www.amazon.de/channels/zdftivi.
After ZDF Krimi, ZDF Herzkino and Terra X, ZDFtivi is ZDF’s fourth channel on Prime Video Channels. In total, Amazon’s OTT platform now offers more than 50 channels in Germany.
