Nowtilus joins Entertainment Merchant Association

September 12, 2018 08.00 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

German digital video distribution solutions provider Nowtilus has joined the Entertainment Merchant Association (EMA), based in LA.

“By becoming a member of the EMA we show our commitment to drive the standardisation of our customers’ supply chain,” Leander Carell, Co-Founder and Managing Director Product and Marketing of Nowtilus, said in Berlin.

Patrick Knippel, Co-Founder and Managing Director Finance and Sales of Nowtilus, added: “With our workflow orchestration for digital video, our customers save lots of costs due to an automated supply chain processing. By adding our latest server-side ad-insertion solution, customers can monetise their live linear TV and video-on-demand services through targeted advertising. This creates much higher CPMs and circumvents ad-blockers.”

Mark Fisher, President and CEO of EMA, said: “We welcome Nowtilus into EMA and look forward to working with them and the entire digital supply chain community throughout Europe to create efficiencies that will reduce costs, increase the availability of content and enable innovation.”

Nowtilus will showcase its server-side ad-insertion solution with partners at IBC 2018 in Amsterdam at the Xstream booth in hall 14.L22, at the Microsoft booth in hall 1.C27 and at the booth of the Fraunhofer Institute in hall 8.B80.
