Mediaset says it has no plans to buy the remainder of its Spanish unit.
The Italian broadcaster currently holds 52% of Mediaset Spain.
“There is no plan to buy 48% of Mediaset Espana ,” a company spokesperson said.
Bloomberg had earlier reported that Mediaset was considering its options to better compete with streaming services Netflix and Amazon.
