Caleb Fox joins Ginx Esports TV

September 12, 2018 09.39 Europe/London By Robert Briel

Caleb Fox, a former Business Development consultant for Games and Esports at Microsoft, has joined Ginx TV in the newly created role of SVP Global Multiplatform Development.

Caleb’s appointment comes at an exciting time for the company as Ginx Esports TV is about to launch in new territories and is seeking to deliver more ways for its community to interact with the brand. The multiplatform focus will drive Ginx Esports TV into the next chapter of the company’s global growth which will see its digital footprint expand dramatically.

Caleb’s career in the esports industry began in 2012 as Head of Esports at Wargaming America, establishing and building out the brand’s esports department and programs. In 2016 he was brought on as a Strategist and Business Development consultant for Games and Esports at Microsoft.

Michiel Bakker, Ginx TV CEO, said: “We set out to find a needle in a haystack: an executive with multiplatform content experience, who was also a digital native as well as an esports insider. Following an extensive search process, we found our man in Caleb. He is ideally placed to help GINX Esports TV scale up our community-focused digital presence and to create more touchpoints for our brand. He already has made an impact at GINX TV and I look forward to working with him to bring new digital products to our community.”

“I’m super excited about what we can achieve at GINX TV. Having had my feet on the ground for a month now, I am convinced that with our well-established television presence and strong production capabilities, we are uniquely positioned to impact the future landscape of esports and digital entertainment,” added Fox.
