Teleste says this year’s IBC will see it showcase its solutions for video content delivery and live content processing at IBC 2018.
The Finnish tech firm will show how its headend solutions are prepared for future changes in content delivery.
“The changing TV and entertainment field is giving a heads-up for operators regarding new service formats and technologies,” said Julius Tikkanen, vice president for Video Service Platforms,” Teleste.
Amongst the demos will be Luminato, which combines content reception, live content processing and video transmission over traditional HFC networks. It also enables a shift towards Remote PHY-based network architectures. Luminato receives content from various sources and then descrambles and re-organises it for network delivery with either CATV, OTT and/or IPTV applications.
Meanwhile, the DAN300, a new DOCSIS 3.1-capable Remote PHY device with RF overlay assits the deployment of distributed network architecture.
