Canale 5 is back on Sky Italia today (Wednesday) after an absence of three years.
The flagship Mediaset network has been granted the prominence of 105 in the Sky Guide.
Canale 5 arrives in time for this weekend’s round of Nations League international football matches. Rete 4 and Italia Uno will also be joining the satellite and IP delivered platform, but to date no timetable has been set.
The agreement was initially signed in March after a thawing in relations between the two media giants. It will also bring Mediaset’s thematic channels.
Sky Cinema Pack customers will be able to Premium Cinema, Premium Cinema +24, Premium Cinema Energy, Premium Cinema Emotion and Premium Cinema Comedy.
Sky Family pack customers will be able to watch the Premium Action channe, SyFy, Premium Crime and Premium Joi.
