Andrea Bártfai-Mager, Hungary’s minister without portfolio in charge of national assets, has appointed Zsolt Sárecz CEO of Antenna Hungária, effective September 1.
He replaces András Kápolnai, who has left the company by mutual consent.
Sárecz has decades of experience in the telecom industry and financial sector, as well as business management. He held various positions at Invitel and several other companies and was most recently CEO of Grid CEE.
In a summary of Kápolnai’s achievements, Antenna Hungária says that he set the company on growth paths in the broadcasting, the media and telecom businesses.
The highlight was the Vizes VB project, when the company produced nearly 322 hours of international broadcasts with 180 cameras and provided continuous live streams from 48 cameras.
