Fox Networks Group Europe & Africa rolls out its video-on-demand service National Geographic+ in Switzerland.
Pay-TV operator Teleclub is the first distribution partner to make the new service available to its customers. Teleclub has been offering National Geographic+ on the IPTV platform Swisscom TV as part of the Family package, which also includes the TV channels National Geographic and Nat Geo Wild, since September 1, 2018.
National Geographic+ is accessible via the integrated on-demand function Teleclub Now – without additional costs.
National Geographic+ is currently available in Greece, Sweden, Denmark and South Africa. A deployment is planned in further countries including German-speaking Europe. “We are working on National Geographic+ to become available in Germany and Austria soon,” a Fox Networks Group Germany spokeswoman told Broadband TV News. “However, we can’t yet announce partners at this stage.”
On National Geographic+, viewers can watch selected documentaries and other programming offered by pay-TV channel National Geographic on-demand. Ultra HD/4K content is also available.
