The Lithuanian Radio and Television Commission (LRTK) has decided for the second time to issue binding instructions to network service providers to stop access to two sites distributing TV content illegally.
In a statement, the regulator says that the sites – www.edem.tv and www.internetine-tv.narod.ru – are operating without its permission.
In accordance with the Law on Public Information, it has appealed to the Vilnius Regional Administrative Court to stop providers giving access to the sites.
The authorisation was issued on August 8 and providers must comply with LRTK’s decision no later than five days after the date of receipt.
