Russia’s leading pay-TV operator Tricolor TV has launched an application for Android TV.
Known as Tricolor Online TV, it allows its customers who have a TV on the Android TV platform to access Tricolor TV’s services without connecting to reception equipment.
Along with the application, consumers now have a variety of interactive broadcast control capabilities, including seven-day catch-up, previously only available to the owners of receivers with an internet connection.
Using the application requires an internet connection of at least 5Mbps.
According to Tricolor TV, it will continue to develop applications for various mobile and TV platforms.
