The Polish public broadcaster TVP has issued bonds to the value of PLN300 million (€70 million).
According to Wirtualne Media, quoting Gazeta Wyborcza, the state bank Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) has already signed an agreement to acquire the bonds.
It adds that BGK also acquired the bonds in TVP’s first issue two years ago.
TVP’s president Jacek Kurski has said that the broadcaster has already completed the repayment of two earlier bond issues, in 2017 and 2018.
Securing constant financing is necessary to fund some TVP projects which are long-term in nature.
